The Stonegate community is coming together to raise funds to provide special orthopedic shoes to Aubrey King who contracted polio as a child and needs shoes which are built up and which accommodate his leg brace.  We will be having fund raising sales and will also accept direct monetary donations.

In addition, donations of consumable household goods are needed to facilitate the King’s move to independent/assisted living.  Donations of the following would be much appreciated:

WORSHIP

Our Worship Service is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We celebrate the Lord's Supper each week, and we open our communion to all those who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior no matter what their denominational ties. Our people come from a variety of different denominational backgrounds, and we rejoice in the ability to share and learn from one another.

Our pastor teaches the truth in love, and in our worship service we experience the love and presence of God.

This is a true story...,
Hello, everyone,
Several have been asking about our doctors' visits this week. Yesterday we saw the urologist and today we saw the oncologist. We got good news and good news and good news.

1. The kidney cancer has not grown in the course of the delay to take care of the lymphoma.

2. The lymphoma is in complete remission at this time--no active lymphoma in his body!! PTL

3. We found out yesterday as well that all his medical bills will be covered 100% including a reimbursement of the bills we have already paid! He will also get disability checks for at least 10 months.

He has been cleared to have the kidney cancer removed as soon as additional tests are complete. We are to be called Thursday in regard to the scheduling of all of that.He is to see the oncologist every 3 months for 2 years and have a PET scan in 6 months.
He will keep his port at least a year, maybe 2 since the first 2 years are the most critical.

Needless to say, we are very, very happy. He is not completely out of the woods, but we are certainly not complaining! We are feeling very blessed and grateful. Your prayers and love and support have been so, so appreciated and valued. We can not thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!
After the good news from both the doctors, we went straight to the Subaru dealer and purchased a brand new Subaru Outback.

Let the celebration---and the camping begin!!!
Love you all.
